TRL Krosaki dedicates AI & Robotics labs in two local schools of Belpahar for improvement of digital literacy of school children

Jharsuguda: TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited has taken up an innovative CSR intervention by developing AI & Robotics Labs at Vivekananda International School and Belpahar English Medium School, two prominent schools located at Belpahar. Mr. Prashanta Kumar Naik, Managing Director, TRL Krosaki inaugurated both the labs on the auspicious day of 15th August 2026.
The company has spent Rs. 26.15 Lakhs for developing the two AI & Robotics Labs. Each lab includes, 156 Nos of Robotics and AI working models for conducting practical education in AI & Robotics, 7 Nos. of workstations for practical education, 2 Nos. of Storage Amirah for storage of Practical Equipment, 1 No. of 3D printer – a latest equipment for printing 3D objects, 2 Nos. of computers for AI learning, Furniture, AC, Washroom, etc.
After inaugurating the projects, Chief Guest Mr. Naik, interacted with the children who have taken up projects in AI and Robotics and encouraged them to take up live AI and Robotics projects which will solve the day-to-day issues faced by the mankind. He has assured the schools to facilitate higher level AI & Robotics training for computer and science teachers so that they can guide the students for taking up such projects.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naik said the student that, they are very fortunate to have such a lab which provides huge number of Robotics working models and AI facilities which was a distant dream for old generation students. The students should take advantage of these facilities and inculcate the values of inquisitiveness, innovation and out of box thinking right from their student phase. He wished the students all the success and reiterated his assurance for supporting the society for improvement of quality of education.
The objective of the project is to develop AI and Robotics labs in local schools considering the rapid global advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. The project aims to equip the younger generation with the knowledge, skills, and exposure required to thrive in the future. Setting up such labs will not only enhance the quality of education but also create opportunities for students to engage in hands-on learning, innovation, and problem‑solving from an early age. This initiative will contribute significantly to build a technologically empowered community and will help bridge the digital divide for students from all backgrounds.

R. High School, Miss. Swarnaprava Brahma of Sunshine School, Ms. Seema Rana of Vivekananda International School etc. were present in the inauguration programmes.
Senior Citizens of Belpahar who were present on the occasion like Dr. Nakula Samal, Mr. Shyam Satpathy, Mr. Biplab Agrawal, Mr. Manoj Agrawal, Mr. Bulu Senapati, Mr. Biswanth Agrawal, Mr. Anil Agrawal, Mr. ASR Murthy, Mr. Prachand Jaiswal, Mr. Kailash Naik, etc. thanked Mr. P. K. Naik and Management of TRL Krosaki for the unique initiative and felicitated Mr. Naik for his unwavering supports for the development of the society. They presented memento to all the TRL Krosaki members present in the programme.
