TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited appoints Prasanta Kumar Naik as the Managing Director of the Company

Jharsuguda :� TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited, situated at Belpahar in Jharsuguda District has announced the appointment of Prasanta Kumar Naik as the Managing Director of the Company with effect from May 1, 2024. He succeeds Priyabrata Panda, who superannuated after serving the Company for around 10 years as its Managing Director.

Prasanta Kumar Naik, a geologist by qualification, joined TRL Krosaki (then Tata Refractories Limited) in 1991 as a Graduate Trainee after completing his M. Tech. in Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.� Naik has a rich experience of around 33 years in the refractories industry working in leadership positions across different functions, such as Production, Associate Operation, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Mines, Risk Management, Energy Management, Marketing, Sales etc.

He has also been instrumental in ensuring raw material security for the company including spearheading the drive to develop Green Raw Materials aimed towards resource conservation and reducing the carbon footprint of the Company.� The Board considers that P.K Naik�s appointment as Managing Director would be of immense benefit to the Company at this crucial stage of transition when the organization is aiming to attain the next level of sustainable growth.
