Jharsuguda : Two people were arrested for allegedly being involved in a Robbery case.
Police identified the two accused as Manoj Bag (23) while another was identified as Rahul Mahapatra (21), both residents of Balijori, under Airport Police Station Limits
As per the police officials, based on the complaint filed by one Sonu Mahanandia, a resident of Bankibahal, allegedly he and his brother had come to the New Bus stand and were searching for a tempo in the night at about 2:30 am when the accused persons stopped him at OMP Railway Overbridge and assaulted him and robbed Rs. 1200 and a one Samsung mobile handset. When the victim shouted to rescue, the accused had fled away from the spot. The Airport Police officials promptly investigated the case apprehended the accused person and recovered the money and mobile handset. the accused were forwarded to court. Police seized Cash of Rs.1200, one Samsung Mobile, one Bajaj Motorcycle, and one knife from the accused.
