Belpahar Police busted Motorcycle Theft Gang
Jharsuguda :�Belpahar Police on Wednesday busted a motorcycle bike theft gang and arrested four people including one purchaser of the stolen bike.
Belpahar Police identified the accused as Judhistir Majhi (25) of Gopalpur Village under Hemgir of Sundargarh District, Santosh Amat (19) of Bileimunda Village under Hemgir of Sundargarh and Dibakar Nagbansi (22) resident of Balbaspur under Hemgir of Sundargarh District. Police also arrested the purchaser of the stolen bike who was identified as Amanat Seikh (42) resident of Mahadevpada, Lephripada, of Sundargarh district.
As per police sources, a complainant Santosh Hemram of Mohanpur area under Belpahar police station had complained regarding the theft of his black Color Hero Super Splendor M/c bearing Regd. No. OD23-2329 from his house by unknown culprits. Based on the report the case wasďż˝ registered at Belpahar Police Station and investigated into
������������ During the investigation, a special team was formed for the detection of the stolen motorcycle cases. Based on the reliable information raids were conducted at different places in Jharsuguda and Sundargarh District and arrested 3 nos. of habitual bike lifters along with one receiver of the stolen bike. Police able to recover as many as 8 nos. of stolen motorcycles from their possession.
