Thieves snatch bag containing over 1.5 lakh rupees from bike rider in broad daylight at Brajrajnagar
Brajrajnagar: On Thursday afternoon, two thieves stole a bag containing 1 lakh 58 thousand 500 rupees from one Sushil Sahu, who was riding his bike after withdrawing the cash from UCO Bank. The incident took place on the road in front of Eco Park, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Brajrajnagar police station.
As Sushil was riding near Eco Park, he was overtaken by two young men on a black bike, who informed him that some money have fallen out of his bag. Sushil stopped his bike and turned around to retrieve the cash, but as he did so, the two robbers snatched the bag hanging on his bike and quickly fled away in the opposite direction.
After the incident, Sushil Sahu filed a written complaint at the Brajrajnagar police station. He provided a detailed report of the incident and the sequence of events that led to the robbery. The police took note of the complaint and initiated an investigation into the matter.
Despite conducting a thorough search of the area where the incident occurred, the police were unable to find any leads or suspects. The robbery has left the local community in shock and fear, prompting the police to advise people to be vigilant and take necessary precautions while carrying large amounts of cash.
