Lok Utsav Parikrama, an Folk and Tribal Arts Festival Concludes at Black Diamond College of Engineering and Technology , Jharsuguda

JHARSUGUDA : Lok Utsav Parikrama, an Folk and Tribal Arts Festival, organized by Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre , Kolkata under Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India concluded at Black Diamond College of Engineering and Technology , Jharsuguda on Wednesday evening.

In this folk and tribal art festival, around 123 participants took part and presented their respective folk dances of their states. Among this Katputli Dance of Rajasthan,Gotipua of Odisha, Bhawai Dance of Gujarat , Santal & Jhumur Dance of Jharkhand , Pururial Chow of Purulia , Bhihu Dance of Assam and Dogri Dance of Jammu.

This function was inaugurated by Jharsuguda ADM Braj Gopal Acharya along with the guest of Honour was Jharsuguda Deputy Collector Devendra Nanda and Principal of Black Diamond College Shriram.

The star attraction of this function was Dogri Dance of Jammmu and Katputli Dance of Rajasthan, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
