BJD’s Star Campaigners for Municipal Election
Jharsuguda: Mere just six days to go for Municipal election in Jharsuguda and Brajrajnagar scheduled on 22nd November, the political atmosphere has been getting hotter and hotter. The political parties have intensified their campaigning process for their respective candidates in every ward. Political parties doesn�t want to leave any stone unturned and have been putting their all their efforts to win the chairman seat at both the municipalities.
In this regard, political parties have roped-in Ministers, MLAs and Film Stars for their campaigning.
In BJD party, many MLAs like Rabi Mallick, Prabhat Biswal, Debasis Samantray, and Minister Kalpatru Das have been camping at Jharsuguda and Brajrajnagar for past few days. On Sunday, even Oriya cine-star turned MP Siddhanta Mahapatra and famous comedian Pappu Pom Pom had been Jharsuguda for this election campaign.
MP Siddhanta Mahapatra said that, �In the recent municipal election held at various places apart from western Odisha, you know the result of BJD, so I expect that in similar way, here also BJD will win in western Odisha.�
According to BJD sources, Anubhav Mohanty would be coming on 19th Nov for BJD campaigning along with Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik, who would visit on 20th November.
From , BJP side , All India BJP Vice President Jual Oram had also visited Jharsuguda and Brajrajnagar to gather support for BJP candidates.
BJP�s All India BJP Vice President Jual Oram said that, �People will vote against the parties who have betrayed the demand of High Court Bench of western Odisha especially BJD and Cong. Another Issue which is Price Hike in Potato and Onion for which Central and State Government is responsible and people will surely vote against them. As Narendra Modi will surely become PM for his development work , people in Municipality will cast their vote to BJP.�
Similarly, even in Congress Party�s PCC President Jaydev Jena, PCC Vice President Kishore Patel had visited Jharsuguda and addressed meetings.
�Chief Minister has played a conspiracy in the name of HC bench demand of Western Odisha, as there was no support of Government in last 14 years and due to lack of interest are the main cause. I hold State Government responsible for the election which was shifted in Western Odisha. If the Government had taken steps earlier and discussed this issue then election would take place in time and Congress would have sweep.� says PCC President Jaydev Jena
