Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green Celebrates Teachers’ Day at Government Upper Primary School, Sarbahal
Jharsuguda: The Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green celebrated Teachers’ Day at Government Upper Primary School (UGME), Sarbahal, Jharsuguda, to honour the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping young minds and building a strong society.
As part of the celebration, Rotary Club members felicitated the school teachers with gifts and distributed sweets among students and teachers, adding warmth and joy to the occasion.
On the occasion, Rotary Club President Rtn. Naresh Sarawgi announced his commitment to supporting the school by constructing a shed over the platform used by students for their mid-day meals. The initiative is expected to provide students with a more comfortable and protected space during meal times.
A total of 10 Rotary Club members actively participated in the programme and contributed to its successful organisation. The school administration and teachers expressed their appreciation to the Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green for its continued support and thoughtful initiatives under the Happy School initiative.
The celebration reflected the club’s commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and supporting the overall well-being of students and teachers in the community.
