Jharsuguda : The Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green marked a significant milestone with the successful celebration of its 4th Installation Ceremony at Hotel Mayfair on Saturday. The event witnessed the formal induction of Rtn Anand Goel as the new President for the Rotary year 2025–26, along with Rtn CA Amit Agrawal as Secretary and Rtn Dhiraj Patel as Treasurer.
The oath-taking ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Guest and Jharsuguda MLA Sri Tankadhar Tripathy, Guest of Honour Rtn Amit Jaiswal, District Governor 2025–26 from Dhamtari (RID 3261), and eminent guest Sri Sandeep Tiwari, Director of VSS Airport, Jharsuguda.
Outgoing President Rtn Harshit Modi presented a detailed report of the club’s activities during his tenure and expressed gratitude to all members and supporters for their unwavering encouragement.
In his maiden address, President Rtn Anand Goel reaffirmed the club’s dedication to community service and sustainability. He outlined major upcoming initiatives including the construction of Rotary Chowk, awareness and vaccination drives for cervical cancer, establishment of an eye hospital in Jharsuguda, and development of deep forest zones through extensive afforestation.
Other dignitaries present included past presidents Rtn Sajid Hussain and Rtn CA Manish Didwania, and active members Rtn Naresh Saraogi, Rtn Raj Hora, Rtn Manoj Sharma, Rtn Rajessh Agrawal, Rtn Vinod Arukia, Rtn Shekh Abdul Habib, and Rtn Gaurav Jain.
The ceremony saw participation from esteemed members of various social organisations, the press and media, and representatives from other Rotary clubs, who extended their greetings and best wishes to the new leadership.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Rtn CA Amit Agrawal, who acknowledged the presence and contributions of all guests, making the event a memorable success.
