Jharsuguda : Jharsuguda Chemist and Druggist Association holds a press meet on Tuesday, they clarified regarding the recent seizure of medicines produced by the fake company, which was seized by Drug officials and sent the medicine for lab test.
President of the association, Jayanta Dixit, informed that “Jharsuguda Chemist and Druggist Association had held a meeting recently and it was decided that all medicine wholesalers, has to procure BIS certificate and another related document of medicine they are procuring and after certified by the association, the medicine wholesalers will be allowed to sell in the market. They also clarified that the medicine which has been seized, those medicine samples have gone for lab test and the report of those medicines are still awaiting. Additionally, they have requested the government and authority to conduct a check on the medicine manufacturing units from their origin. So that fake medicine companies should be checked and not be allowed to sell medicine and those who ever is involved in black marketing of such spurious drugs should be given strict punishmentâ€
