Jharsuguda: Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great fervour at its township, Vedanta Meadows in Jharsuguda. The celebrations began with the unfurling of the national flag by senior leaders, followed by the resounding notes of the national anthem filling the air with a sense of patriotism and pride.The event also featured an eagerly-anticipated tableau competition, where employees creatively represented India’s evolution from its glorious past to its promising future.
This year’s celebrations centred around the theme, “Swarnim Bharat – Virasat aur Vikas,”, beautifully underscoring India’s rich cultural heritage and its ongoing journey of progress. The day continued with vibrant cultural performances by employees and their families, which included songs, dances, and skits depicting India’s remarkable journey toward development. Engaging games and activities added to the festive spirit, making the occasion even more memorable for all attendees.
