District-level Pravasi Bharatiya Divas-2025 Celebrated in Jharsuguda
Jharsuguda: The District-level Pravasi Bharatiya Divas-2025 was celebrated with enthusiasm at the District Education and Training Institute in Jharsuguda. The event commenced with the inaugural ceremony, where the Chief Guest, Additional District Education Officer Pradeep Kumar Sahu, highlighted the significant contributions of Indian emigrants to the nation’s development.
A series of competitions were held to engage the students, including essay writing, poster presentations, quizzes, and cycling contests, all organized at the block level. About 50 students from classes 8 to 12 participated in these events, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm.
The concluding ceremony in the afternoon was graced by the Chairperson of the District Education and Training Institute, Mamata Padhan, as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests included Kolabira Block Education Officer Satyabrata Sahu, girl-child coordinator Jayanta Kumar Badi, District Project Officer Bimal Kumar Tandi, and AEO Rabindra Kumar Sahu. The guests distributed awards to the students who excelled in the competitions.
The event was managed by Khulana Sundari Behera, the coordinator of Integrated Education, with the support of all Integrated Education staff, CRS, and teachers. Teacher Bipin Panda coordinated the program, ensuring its smooth execution and success.
