Jharsuguda U-16 and U-14 Teams Shine in OCA Intra District School Cricket Championship 2024, Qualify for Super League
JHARSUGUDA : The Jharsuguda Under-16 and Under-14 cricket teams have delivered an exceptional performance in the OCA Intra District School Cricket Championship (Preliminary League) 2024, winning all five of their matches to secure a place in the Super League.
The tournament, held from 28th September to 4th October 2024 at Cuttack, saw the Jharsuguda teams emerge victorious against tough competition. Under the leadership of captain Lucky Singh, the teams registered dominant wins over Kendrapara, Jajpur, Balangir, Sonepur, and Kalahandi, maintaining an undefeated record.
Coaches and Managers Sumit Singh and Gopal Dutta expressed their pride in the team’s consistent performances, crediting their dedication and hard work throughout the tournament.
By winning all five matches, Jharsuguda has not only made a mark in the championship but also set a high standard for the upcoming Super League phase.
