Joint inspection and raid were conducted by the food inspector and the municipality team at various Hotels in Brajrajnagar

Brajrajnagar : In a significant move to ensure public health and safety, a joint inspection and raid were conducted by the food inspector and the municipality team at various hotels and shops in Brajrajnagar. The operation, aimed at cracking down on unhygienic practices and illegal use of banned materials, led to the destruction of stale food and banned plastic items.

During the raid, officials identified and destroyed several quantities of stale food that were deemed unfit for consumption. In addition to this, banned plastic items, which were being used in violation of regulations, were also seized and destroyed on the spot.

One hotel was found to be operating under extremely unhygienic conditions. Due to the severity of the violations, the hotel was sealed by the authorities. The team also imposed a penalty of ₹13,000 on various establishments for failing to comply with health and safety standards.
