3rd Installation Ceremony of Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green held
Jharsuguda : The Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green celebrated its 3rd installation ceremony at Hotel Utkal Continental, marking a significant milestone in the club�s journey. Rtn Harshit Kumar Modi took the helm as President, with Rtn Anand Goel as Secretary and Rtn Manoj Sharma as Treasurer for the year 2024-25.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Guest District Governor 2024-25 Rtn Akhil Mishra from Jabalpur, RID 3261. Guest of Honour Bhabani Shankar Seth, OPS(I) Commandant, OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda, and Guest of Honour Rtn Alam Singh Roopra, District Governor 2026-27, RID 3261, also attended the event.
Outgoing President Rtn Manish Didwania shared his valuable report and highlighted the achievements during his tenure. He expressed his gratitude for the continuous support from the members.
In his inaugural speech, Rtn Harshit Kumar Modi committed to fostering a green and clean environment. He outlined major projects for the upcoming year, including the adoption of UGME School Sarbahal for various developmental works, an awareness and vaccination drive for cervical cancer, and the construction of an eye hospital at Mangal Bazar Government Hospital. Additionally, he mentioned several other smaller projects aimed at community development.
The installation ceremony was attended by esteemed members from various social organizations of Jharsuguda, press members, and members from Rotary clubs of other districts. Prominent Rotary members such as Rtn Sajid Hussain, Rtn Naresh Saraogi, Rtn Vinod Arukia, Rtn Shekh Abdulhabib, Rtn Gaurav Jain, Anjali Modi, and Veena Hussain also graced the event with their presence.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Rtn Anand Goel, who expressed his appreciation to everyone for their presence and contributions, making the event a grand success
