Jharsuguda : The Nehru Yuva Kendra Jharsuguda has organized a training program for youth development programs at the Rajiv Gandhi Sebakendra in Khuntamal village panchayat in Laikera block of Jharsuguda district.

The event was organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Jharsuguda under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. The training camp, chaired by Jharsuguda District Youth Coordinating Officer Ramesh Kumar Soni, was attended by Khuntamal Sarpanch Ashtami Jaipuria as the chief guest while Sanjulata Naik, a volunteer woman, was the guest of honour.

The event was held from October 28 to November 1 at various clubs in the Laikera block. The program focused on the formation of new youth associations and how to make the old youth associations more active, as well as how to make young people self-sufficient. Masks and sanitizers were also distributed on the occasion.

Under the supervision of Laikera Block National Coordinators Chudamani Behera and Yogindra Kisan, Khuntamal Utkalmani Youth Union, Jai Ma Andhari Club Sudung, Saraswati Club Jamdihi, Maa Bandurga Club Naikdihi, Jai Javan Kivalibal Kivalibaldi Kisanalibdi Sports Club Members of the auxiliary women’s group were present. Young leaders Ranjit Naik, Chandrashekhar Paule, Diptes Bariha, Leikera former national coordinator Josnarani Kisan fully cooperated.
