Bargarh MP, Pradeep Purohit Donates his first salary of Rs. 1 Lakh to Gaushala
Jharsuguda :��In a heartwarming gesture, the Bargarh MP, Pradeep Purohit on Monday donated a cheque of Rs. 1,00,000 from his first salary as Member of Parliament to the Gau Seva Dham Gaushala, Govindpur under Lakhanpur Block in Jharsuguda district. This contribution aims to support the maintenance and welfare of Cows at the Gaushala.
Speaking to the media, Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit said, �When I had become an MLA, I had donated my first salary to the High School and ME school where I studied as I had decided to use the first salary for a good cause.
Similarly, when I was awarded as the best MLA in the Vidhan Sabha, during that I received Rs. 50,000. Then, also I utilized that money by donating it to an Orphanage at Nursinghanath.
Subsequently, after becoming MP, I decided to utilize my first salary as a Member of Parliament for a good cause, so, I �have come here to Gau Seva Dham, Govindpur, under Brajrajnagar constituency and donated a cheque of Rs. 1,00,000 to the committee members who are maintaining and serving this gaushala. I am very thankful to all the voters who had voted for me, especially the voters of Brajrajnagar who had voted with the highest margin of more than 57,000 votes from this region.�
