Jharsuguda : The annual festival “Aarohan” was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm at Ghanshyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir, Jharsuguda, in which the chief guest was the Vice Chancellor of Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur, N. Nagaraju. As Special Guest, former Chairman of Municipality Tapas Ray Chaudhary, Founder of the School Management Committee, Pavitra Mohan Behera, Senior Member of the School Management Committee, Trilochan Pradhan, Principal of the School, Mrs. Sanjukta Das, Vice-Principal, Manoranjan Guman Singh, Convener of the Parent-Teacher Association, Saubhagya Patel, all the members of the School Management Committee. Members, teachers, students, parents, and other dignitaries were present.
The function was presided over by senior teacher Jagdish Prasad Panigrahi. The program started with the lighting of the lamp and the inauguration song. The chief guest at the annual function Vice Chancellor of Gangadhar Meher University, N. Nagaraju won everyone’s hearts with his views on quality education. The school magazine was also unveiled in the program. In the annual festival ‘Aarohan’, a cultural program was organized by the students with joy and enthusiasm, realizing the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. Vice-Principal of the school, Manoranjan Guman Singh thanked all the dignitaries, teachers, and students present in the program and the annual festival “Aarohan” 2023 concluded successfully with the national anthem.
