Jharsuguda : The Jharsuguda District Forest Division held a farewell function on Thursday, on the retirement of Ramesh Chandra Nath, Dy. Range Officer, Jharsuguda Forest Range.
Ramesh Chandra Nath joined Forest Department on 5th June 1987 and served various areas of the district with distinction for 37 years of service.
The Divisional Forest Officer, Manu Ashok Bhat along with various forest officials was lauded for his meritorious service rendered to the department by all the speakers in the function. The retiring officer in his farewell speech recalled the time when he first joined the forest department in the year 1987.
He stated that he takes back with him cherished memories of the all-forest staff who had supported him in this journey especially the senior officials and DFO who guided him to perform his duties properly. Nath added that there was very good communication between seniors and subordinate officers thereby leading to better coordination on the ground.
Jharsuguda Divisional Forest Division Manu Ashok Bhat, IFS also spoke on the occasion and recalled the probationary period spent with Ramesh Chandra Nath. He stated that Ramesh Chandra Nath, had a very good public relationship due to which the work related to the forest was implemented on the ground very effectively and he also advised all forest staff to take inspiration from him and his work. He congratulated the retiring officer on the completion of a long and successful career.
