Jharsuguda :ïż½ Jharsuguda Police on Wednesday arrested 6 people for allegedly trading illegal contraband Brown Sugar and seized 15.39 gms, Police said on Thursday
Police identified the accused asïż½Rakesh Sindhiïż½(33) a resident of Mangal Bazaar,ïż½Ankushïż½(30) resident of Mishra Talkies Gali,ïż½Irshad Khanïż½(32), a resident of Tatagali, Mangal Bazaar,ïż½Irfan Aliïż½(32), a resident of Tatagali, Mangal Bazaar,ïż½Roshan Kumuraïż½(22) a resident of Darlipali Talpada of Sundargarh District andïż½Sobhagya Seth(25), a resident of Tangarpali of Sundargarh District.
As per police officials, on 27thïż½September, on the basis of credible information regarding a congregation of 5 to 6 people inside a garden situated behind the Man Mohan ME School field for dealing and transporting illegal contraband Brown Sugar. As per Jharsuguda SP, a special team was formed and apprehended the accused person and seized brown sugar weighing about 15.39 gms from the place of assembly. Besides this one two-wheeler,ïż½YAHAMA FZS having no registration number plate which was parked at the spot was also seized. Apart from this, during the personal search, mobile phones and cash of Rs. 4140/- were seized along with one illegal country-made pistol from one of the accused Shobhagya Seth.
