Deepali Das Joins Odisha Assembly, Pledges to Carry Forward Late Father’s Vision

Jharsuguda: The Odisha Assembly Monsoon Session commenced on Friday, with a notable debut by Jharsuguda MLA Deepali Das, the daughter of the late Minister Naba Das, who had been elected as the Jharsuguda MLA.

Reflecting on this significant moment, she expressed, “Today is a day of immense pride and reverence for me. It evoked deep emotions as I took my seat, the same seat my father once occupied. The absence of my father is poignant. I had the privilege of meeting the Chief Minister and other senior leaders, seeking their blessings. My father’s aspiration was for me to advocate for people like him, and today, I embark on that journey within the Assembly, albeit without him by my side.”
