Raksha Bandhan celebrated by the inmates of the Mission Ashra

Jharsuguda : �On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the inmates of Mission Ashra run by People’s Forum celebrated the occasion by tying the inmates of Mission Ashalok and eating sweets. Along with this, the inmates of the old age home at Gobindpur in Jharsuguda district, run by the People’s Forum, celebrated the occasion by tying Rakhi to the inmates and eating cakes and sweets. There was a happy atmosphere in all the centers of the People’s Forum today. Everyone celebrated the event with great joy. It is said here that the inmates of Mission Ashra made Rakhis with their own hands for today’s occasion. The main objective of the People’s Forum is to bring happiness to the inmates and the inmates by celebrating such celebrations and bringing them back to normalcy.

It is worth mentioning here that People’s Forum has been celebrating various regional and national festivals throughout the year in its other rehabilitation Centers. This improves the mental condition of the inmates and creates a family and social atmosphere.

Currently, 130 inmates and 2 children are being served at Mission Ashra-1, 94 inmates and one child at Mission Ashra-II, 134 mentally ill men and women at Mission Ashalok-1 and 34 inmates at the De-Addiction Centre & 54 inmates at Old Age Home. As of now, 380 mentally ill women, 349 mentally ill men, and 495 inmates of drug addiction centers have recovered and returned home to join the mainstream of society.
