Migrant Women and Children Secure Aadhaar Cards After Administrative Support
Jharsuguda: On the 7th of August, Bilash Kharsel, a migrant woman, along with her four children, visited the Mahasamadhaan camp at the district office in Jharsuguda to obtain Aadhaar cards. Due to the nature of their work, they had faced difficulties in obtaining permanent residency.
Following the demise of her husband, Bilash Kharsel returned to Jharsuguda. The local administration promptly organised transportation for them to the Laikera tahasil, where they were immediately issued residence certificates in accordance with the ORTPS rules.
Their Aadhaar enrollment was successfully completed on the subsequent day, the 8th. Consequently, they are now eligible to avail themselves of various welfare schemes.
