Jharsuguda: The 116th Foundation Day of Bank of Baroda was celebrated at Jhardeswari Disabled School in Budapada Buromal on July 20, 2023. The event was presided over by school founder and president Vivekananda Mishra. Bank of Baroda Branch Manager Virendra Kumar Madkey, School Secretary Nikunj Bihari Jyotish, Dr. Prakash Chandra Rana, Chief of Prayas Disabled Therapy Center, Working President Anantram Sahu and Joint Secretary Vijay Saigal, School Executive Committee Member Guninidhi Vainsha were also present on the occasion.
Visually impaired students Kalpana Khadiya, Ranjita Bhoi, and Mamata Parua sang a Sambalpuri song. Bank of Baroda branch Manager, Birendra Kumar Marky, distributed seven fans to the school. The principal of the school Namitha Nath gave the vote of thanks.
The event was organized to spread awareness about the importance of education for children with disabilities. The guests also interacted with the students and encouraged them to pursue their dreams.
The school management thanked the Bank of Baroda for their support and said that the fans would be of great help to the students during the hot summer months.
