Brajrajnagar: Brajrajnagar MLA Alaka Mohanty laid the foundation stones for various development works in Samarbaga and Kadamdihi villages under the Lakhanpur block of Brajrajnagar constituency on Wednesday.
The works include the construction of a Shiva temple at Samarbaga Skulpada Katta, a community center at Samarbaga Khadiapada, a community center at Khadiapada Kureimal, a Shiva temple at Chueikhanch, a road at Kutrapali, the improvement of the Ramchandi temple at Kuturapali, and the construction of a Jangha temple at Samarbaga.
The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by a large number of villagers, as well as Jharsuguda Zilla Parisad Vice President Akshay Sahu, Lakhanpur Block Chairperson Huteswari Tihiria, Samarbaga Sarpanch Lilima Barik, Samiti Sabhya Rajendra Sahu, District BJD Cordintor Pramod Gadatia, Lakhanpur Block Youth President Naresh Khamari, Former Block Vice President Tusaram Pradhan, Chaitanya Barik, Anil Siddar, Mahendra Biswal, and Saroj Chhachan.
