Bhubaneshwar: The Directorate General of Secondary Education has officially announced the start of the application process for high schools, or Plus Two. Students who wish to apply for admission to the secondary school can apply through the SAMS portal from May 29. The application deadline is June 20, according to the official notice published by the Management Board.
After the application period, the first merit list will be published on June 28, revealing the names of the selected students. Students who have earned a spot on the first award list will have the opportunity to complete their admission between June 29 and July 5. In addition, the second batch of merit list will be announced on July 13, the registration period is open from July 14 to July 17. Notably, this year it is possible to arrange online for one-time admission, simplifying the process for students.
The highly anticipated middle school classes will begin on July 29, marking the start of a new school year.
A total of 509,000 seats are available to aspiring students, but of the 555,404 students who passed the exam this year, 251,298 were male and 257,106 were female. This year’s exam results have markedly improved compared to last year.
