Jharsuguda : People’s Forum Jharsuguda, celebrated its 31st Foundation Day at Mission Ashra premises.
On this occasion a mega Blood Donation Camp on 27th December, where Jharsuguda Addl. District Magistrate Lankeshwar Amat had inaugurated the program as the Chief Guest. A total of 112 units of blood were collected successfully from the donors. The program includes all the units run by People’s Forum Western Zone-like; Mission Ashra, Mission Aashalok, Drug De-addition Centre, Old Age Home( BHARASA ), BC Model and the staff of Annapurna Finance. The Western Zone Program Head Sanjaya Jethy and State Head of Annapurna Finance Binod Bihari Mishra were presented with many local volunteers who donated blood and made the event victorious. A Mega Reunion Program has been organised on this occasion of Foundation Day, around 10 inmates have reunited 10 inmates from Mission Ashra (Female), Mission Aashalok ( Male ) to their respective family members in presence of Lankeshwar Amat, ADM Jharsuguda.
To make this program more entertaining and energetic a variety of cultural events were performed by the residents and staff of all centres. This program includes Odissi, Sambalpuri, Modern Dance, Bhajan & Film songs. Residents were also felt blessed with the blessings of Jesus Christ by celebrating Christmas.
All the staff and inmates made this event successful with their active participation.
