TRL Krosaki Wins Greentech Corporate Leadership Award 2025 for Leadership in ESG

Jharsuguda: TRL Krosaki has received the prestigious Greentech Corporate Leadership Award 2025 for its leadership in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). The award function was organised by Greentech Foundation at Hotel Redission Blue Plaza, New Delhi. The award was received by Niranjan Dash, Vice President (Safety & Sustainability), and Dr. Arup Kumar Samanta, Vice President (Technology), TRL Krosaki, from Major General (Retd.) Sanjay Meston. Eminent dignitaries like Dr. R. K. Dubey, Ex CMD of Canara Bank, and Kamlesh Saran, Chairman, Greentech Foundation, were present on the dais during the award function.
The award has been conferred upon the company for its superior performance and dedicated efforts in the field of ESG. Seventy leading industries of eastern India, including NTPC, BALCO Vedanta, Larsen & Toubro, Hindustan Unilever Limited, among others, participated in the award. The selection was carried out through a multi-stage process involving screening of applications, assessment, and evaluation by a jury of eminent specialists in the field of ESG.
TRL Krosaki has adopted a focused ESG strategy to combat climate change, foster inclusive growth, and strengthen governance culture. The company is advancing towards carbon-neutral operations by 2050, guided by a strategy that prioritizes energy efficiency, cleaner fuels, recycled materials, and engineering solutions to reduce emissions. The company operates a zero-discharge plant, reusing 100% recycled water, with more than 35% of its land under green cover.
Its commitment to safety, inclusion, and empowerment is reflected in its three-tier safety system, which has led to zero reportable injuries in the last five years.
