Remenda village of Jharsuguda district is known as the Sampradaik Sadbhab ra srikhetra ( village of Communal Harmony ), where the Rath Yatra establishes a unique tradition where the Muslim Gauntia of the villages perform Cherpahara during the Jagannath Rath Yatra, and this tradition has been going on for centuries. Only then there is a Rath Yatra in the villages for centuries, but the temple of Lord Jagannath was not there in the village.
