Jharsuguda : Â Brajrajnagar Police on Sunday arrested a noted criminal for allegedly being involved in a burglary case.
The accused was identified as Rajendra Munda (31), a resident of Bhalupali under the Sambalpur District. Police also arrested the receiver of the ornaments Chandan Kumar Mohapatra, a resident of Hirakud under Sambalpur District.
As per the report, The accused had allegedly committed a burglary in the house of Santosh Kumar Naik of Brajrajnagar and had committed theft of gold and silver ornament worth Rs. 4 Lakhs while the family members were sleeping.
Based on this Brajrajnagar police led by SDPO Dilip Das had launched an investigation nabbed the accused Rajendra Munda and recovered all the stolen property. The accused has been involved in more than 16 numbers of burglary case.
