WandaVision trailer: Marvel superheroes Scarlet Witch and Vision trying their hands to live a normal life
Marvel has released the trailer of Series of Wanda Vision during the 72nd Emmy Awards on Monday. The web series is among the several projects being developed for Disney service. WandaVision will see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision, respectively.
The trailer seems different from any movie we have seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a minute trailer, Elisabeth Olsen’s (Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch) and Paul Bettany’s (Vision) living a life of an average couple is shown in the 1950’s monochromatic. They are a new couple who have just moved to a town, making new friends, neighbors. However, during a friendly dinner party, a couple asks them about their lives, and soon they realize that everything is not what it seems. Their memories of the Infinity War and the Endgame have been completely wiped out.
The web series has been made after the Avengers: Endgame. It’s quite surprising that vision looks alive as he was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. The scenes take you the 60s and 70s, where they become parents and Wanda herself who has realized her new powers of conjuring whatever reality she wishes too. There is also a surprise appearance from Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Captain Marvel’s friend Mary.
According to the official synopsis of the show, “The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Visiontwo super-powered beings living idealised suburban livesbegin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.”
