ZEE5’s Poison Season 2 Review: Power-Packed Entertainment with Twist and Turns and Nail-biting Moments

Zee 5 much-loved web series Poison 2 is back with an all-new avatar. Marks the digital debut of actor Aftab Shivdasani and Raai Laxmi who stars alongside popular actors like Rahul Dev, Pooja Chopra, Zain Imam and Vin Rana in this sequel to Poison.

After the success of Season One, the makers have updated their game for Season Two. Poison 2 is an intense crime thriller of retaliation and revenge, which picks up the strings from where the first season ended. Unlike every revenge story, Poison takes you to the constant mystery and drama that puts you to a nail-biting finish.

Aditya Singh (Aftab Shivdasani) a jockey and a team owner wins the racecourse that was supposed to be won by team ‘Josh’ made them stunned. Josh is owned by Sara(Rai Laxmi), along with her brother Oscar (Vin Rana) and husband Harsh (Zain Iman). Aditya also wants to own the racecourse that team Josh wants to buy on lease. This disrupts them, and the way the screenplay plays out in twist and turns of the plot is a binge-watch.

As the series grows, scene after scene, we see jaw-dropping transforms in the plot that would make you pause for a minute and process what just happened. Sometimes your solace is with Aditya and sometimes with Sara, but you can’t make up your mind for whom you fall under.

Poison 2 is fully loaded with tension, mystery, drama, danger and lust packed into the 11 powerful episodes. As the plot unfolds, episode by episode, leaving you astonished. The deeper you go into the story, one episode rolls over into another, and the whole series makes for a great binge-watch.
