PUBG? Akshay Kumar launches the new action game FAU-G

Government of India announced a decision to counter the tension at the
border by banning over 118 apps, PUBG Mobile, a widely popular online
multiplayer shooting game. The BJP government has already banned 106
Chinese apps, including TIKTOK, Share it, UC browser, Xender.
Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar announced an Indian app called FAU-G to
cater to the same masses.

The game is developed by NCore Games, which has India’s reputed tech
entrepreneur Mr Vishal Gondal as Investor. The action game, called
Fearless And United-Guards of FAU-G, will be an initiative supporting
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar movement and has pledged to
donate 20 per cent of its net revenue generated will be donated to
#BharatKeVeer Trust.

Akshay Kumar took to social media and announced its support to the
Government. He Wrote, “Supporting PM @narendramodi’s Atma Nirbhar
movement, proud to present a multiplayer action game, Fearless And
United – Guards FAU-G. Besides entertainment, players will also learn
about the sacrifices of our soldiers. 20% of the net revenue generated
will be donated to #BharatKeVeer Trust

After the announcement of the app, Meme started flooding into the
social media as people were disappointed by the similarities to
‘Fanatical Futurist’, a US-military based action game.

The announcement came in two days after the Government of India banned
118 Chinese apps, including PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite.
Developed by Chinese gaming and social media group Tencent, that ranks
among the world’s top five smartphone games with over 700 million
downloads. While existing users may still be able to play the game on
their devices, it has vanished from most mobile marketplaces.
According to reports, there are close to 50 million active PUBG
players in India and 13 million daily active users.

PUBG or PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds features a competition in which
100 players face off each other with automatic weapons until there is
only one left. The winner will get “Chicken Dinner” as a reward.
