Jharsuguda : A 65-year-old woman was killed after the house in which she was sleeping was damaged by the two elephants who strayed into the village at wee hours of Wednesday under Bagedihi Forest range.
The woman was identified as Jamuna Behera, resident of Bhaunra Village under Bagedihi Forest Range
As per sources,� two elephants had strayed near to Bhaunra Village at 4 am in the early morning and had damaged the house, while the woman was sleeping, The House caved over the elderly woman which killed her on the spot. She alone in her house when the incident took place.
