Jharsuguda: Odisha Health and Family Minister Naba Kishore Das on Wednesday, inaugurated 110 Bedded COVID Hospital at Mangal Bazaar, Jharsuguda.
This Hospital has been built by converting the Old District Head Quarter Hospital Building into COVID Hospital. This hospital has been funded by District Mineral Fund (DMF) and has been managed by Hitech Hospital, Bhubaneswar.
In this inaugural, Odisha Health and Family Welfare Minister, Naba Kishore Das was also accompanied by Member of Parliament Suresh Pujari, Brajrajnagar MLA, Kishore Mohanty and Tirupati Panigrahi, Chairman of Hi-tech Hospital, Bhubaneswar and C.N. Singh, CEO, Vedanta Ltd.
” As per the direction of our Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, this COIVD Hospital has been inaugurated on Wednesday. This hospital has a total 110 bed including 10 ICU, 7 Ventilator and 93 General Bed. I want to thank Vedanta Ltd. & Hi-tech Hospital for supporting us. After the COVID, this hospital and its infrastructure will be utilized for the citizens of Jharsuguda. In the coming days, this hospital will also have a Laboratory. Additionally, I want to inform that within fifteen days COVID blood test will take place in Bolangir too. ” said Naba Kishore Das, Odisha Health and Family Welfare Minister
