Jharsuguda : Vigilance Sleuths on Monday nabbed an assistant teacher working in the billing section Office of Jharsuguda District Welfare Office, for accepting a bribe of Rs. 4,000 from a complainant.
The accused was identified as Santosh Naik (44), a resident of Panchpada under Jharsuguda Town.
As per the vigilance official,” Based on the complaint by one Surya Narayan Satpathy, son of Sanatan Satpathy, a retired Assistant Teacher of Sarnadamal under Banharpali area of Jharsuguda District. we had laid a trap on Monday afternoon and had caught Santosh Kumar Naik, red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 4,000 from the complainant in the Dist. Treasury Office, Jharsuguda. Santosh Naik had demanded Rs, 4000 as a bribe for settling the unutilised leave of the retired assistant teacher Sanathan Satpathy.
����������� The accused Santosh Kumar Naik has been arrested and is being forward to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.
