Jharsuguda: BJD Leader and former Brajrajnagar MLA Anup Kumar Sai have been detained by Chakradhar Nagar Police of Chhattisgarh.
On Wednesday night, A police team from Chhattishgarh picked up BJD leader Anup Kumar Sai from his house for his alleged involvement in a double murder case and are interrogating him in connection with the murder case.
A three-time MLA from Brajrajnagar assembly constituency, Sai had quit Congress and unsuccessfully represented Brajrajnagar Assembly constituency for BJD in 2014. In August 2019, he was appointed chairperson of the State Warehousing Corporation.
