IB THERMAL : Odisha Power Generation Corporation Ltd. celebrated 36th Foundation Day on 14th�November 2019. To mark the inauguration of Foundation Day celebrations, Director(Operation) Alok Mukherjee flagged off a marathon at 7.30 am from Rajiv Gandhi Ground till ITPS plant gate and back. More than 250 employees and hundreds of school children participated in the marathon. Jay Krishna Kumar, Thanasagar Padhan and Kaushik Ghosh, �clinched first three positions respectively in the marathon. Later Director-Operations Mukherjee inaugurated a blood donation camp organized at the IB Thermal Hospital. The blood donation camp was done in collaboration with Red Cross in which employees and their family members donated 40 units of blood. Mukherjee also visited the patients admitted at the ITPS hospital to know their condition and distribute fruits. In the evening, Director(Operation) inaugurated the two-day-long cultural programme and Fete by members of IB Thermal Ladies Club which were followed by cake cutting by Mukerjee at the Rajiv Gandhi Ground at 7.00 pm. Members of Foundation Day celebrations committee Satya Prakash Tarai, Krutibas Padhi, Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Sweta Rohini, Sudhir Kumar Behera, Atanu Jena, Chitta Behera, Sovan Biswal, Deepak Mohanty organized the events among others guided by G.M (HR & Admin) Chitta Ranjan Swain, Head (HR & Admin) PK Patra, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bijalal Biswal and other senior officials of OPGC.
