12 masked miscreants decamp jewellery worth 10 Lakhs
Jharsuguda: Twelve masked miscreants decamped jewellery worth 10 lakhs after tying the family members with Saree inside a room on the wee hours of Thursday at Bagdehi.
As per the reports, twelve masked miscreants who were armed with rods, Bhujali, screwdrivers and other had entered the house of one Shyam Lal Agarwal of Bagdehi after breaking the window of the back side of the house and fled away with the gold and silver ornaments.
The victim Shyam Lal Agarwal said, “At night around 3.30am around 12 masked miscreants had entered our room and had threatened us with arms and asked the keys of the Almirahs and had taken gold and silver jewellery ornaments and before leaving the house they had tied me and my wife with saree and fled away from the spot. Later in the morning had untied the saree and had alerted the neighbours and police. ”
Jharsuguda Superintendent of Police Aswini Kumar Mohanty said that” The miscreants had entered after breaking the window of the house. Presently we are at the initial stage and investigating the matter, only the gold and silver jewellery that has been taken by the miscreants and we are very hopeful that we will detect this case soon.”
