Jharsuguda : Jharsuguda Town police arrested 39 people from various location and seized more than one Lakh rupees from them on Thursday night during night raids on gambling dens of Jharsuguda, police told on Friday
Jharsuguda Town IIC Khirasagar Naik said that “We have arrested 22 people from Mangal Bazaar areas and have seized around Rs. 80,600 along with the seizure of 5 sets of playing cards. Similarly, we have arrested 11 persons from Kabristhanpara and have seized Rs. 8,430. Additionally, we have arrested 6 people from whom we have seized around Rs. 13,810. We have arrested them and will be forwarded to court under section 3 OPG act.
