TRL Krosaki receives CII Energy Conservation Appreciation Certificate

Jharsuguda : TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited received the prestigious Confederation Indian Industry Energy Conservation (CII – ENCON) appreciation certificate for excellence in energy conservation. The certificate of appreciation was received by Mr. Jiban Krushna Patnaik, General Manager (Environment Management) on August 20, 2016 in a special award function organized by CII at Hotel Oberai Grand, Kolkata from Mr. T. V. Narendran, Chairman, CII Eastern Region and Managing Director of Tata Steel. Mr. Prabhudev Prasad Mohanty, Asst. General Manager (Electrical and Automation) and Mr. Jagdish Chandra Sarangi, Dy. Manager (Energy Management) accompanied him while receiving the award.

Eminent personalities and industry heads like Mr. Shovandeb Chatterjee, Honourable     Minister-in-Charge, Department of Power and NES, Government of West Bengal, Mr. Aniruddha Basu, Chairman, CII Energy Task Force and MD – CESC, Mr. Hu Peinian, Managing Director (India), Shanghai Electric, Mr. Rajesh Pandey, IAS, CMD – WBSEDCL, Mr. Anil Sardana, Chairman – CII National Committee on Power and MD, Tata Power, Mr. S. D. Dubey, Chairman – Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Power, Government of India etc. were also present in the award distribution function.

TRL Krosaki presented the initiatives taken in its plant facilities for conservation of energy in the 7th edition of “Energy Conclave – A Step towards Energy for All” which was organised on 20th August, 2016 at The Oberoi Grand Hotel, Kolkata. 39 large, medium and small industries participated in the above porogramme. Initiatives taken by TRL Krosaki were appreciated by the jury and selected for the certification.

TRL Kroski has undertaken initiative several initiatives during the past two years like revamping its kilns for enhancement of capacity and energy efficiency, optimum operation of its thermal units, use of solar energy, LED Lights, VFD Drives, etc. for improving its energy efficiency and reduce its ‘Carbon Foot Print’. The company endeavours to operate in the most environment friendly manner.
