One died , five injured in a road accident

Jharsuguda: One person died and five injured when their bike met head on collision with each other at Sodamal Village on Saturday Morning at 11 AM.

According to the police sources, A bullet (OD – 15A 8955) in which three person were coming from Kolabira to Sambalpur met head on collision with another Hero Honda Passion Plus bike (OR – 05X 8678), on which, three person were also seated from Sodamal to Kolabira.  The Collision was so extreme that the bullet driver, identified as Ashok Rout (47), a resident of Lapanga Village died on the spot while others were seriously injured. The injured were immediately shifted to the Jharsuguda Dist. Headquarter Hospital for the Treatment.

The injured were identified as Chudamani Thakur (25), Chanthur Bhuj Thakur (20) both of Sodamal Village and Pradeep Chatterjee (53) , resident of Rairangpur.

Two people who were seriously injured, Himanshu Sahu (30) resident of Kadiapali Village and Ranjan (22) of Sodamal Village were referred to VSS Medical , Burla.
