Jharsuguda: A two days Regional level workshop on standard care practices in Child Care Institution was inaugurated on Tuesday at Jharsuguda. In this workshop participant, mainly members belonging to Child Welfare Committee, Juvenile Justice Board and Child Care institution from Western & Southern Odisha had participated.
The workshop was inaugurated by Jharsuguda Collector Parameswaran B. along with guest speaker Jharsuguda SP Dr. Uma Shankar Das and Odisha Child Welfare Committee Forum’s Convener Dr. Ajay Kumar Mishra.
“For the better co-ordination between the Child Care Institution, Child welfare Committee members and police we decided to organize this two days workshop. On this platform we will be discuss and resolve the issues regarding the co-ordination problems faced. Even CWC members from various districts would able to know each other for better co-ordination within the Districts.” Said Dr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, Convener, Odisha Child Welfare Committee Forum.
“The main purpose of this workshop is to create awareness regarding the Welfare schemes taken by the Government for the Children, Specially the neglected children in terms of Orphans & Socio economically weak children’s and such communities therefore we hope that this workshop will help all stake holders in creating greater sensitivity for ensuring the children’s led a better life.” said Parameswaran B. Jharsuguda Collector.
