A�cycle rally was organised at Jharsuguda in partnership with NGO Development Initiative to sensitize the inhabitants of Jharsuguda town on the impending dangers of global warming and negligence towards protection of environment. Sub-Collector of Jharsuguda district Mr. B. N. Dhal, OAS flagged off the rally. More than hundred cyclists rallied in and around Jharsuguda town with placards and chanting slogans, thus urging the citizens to protect our ecology from decaying. The rally started from the industrial area and culminated at Cux colony where a consultation meeting was organised on the theme �Informal workers and massive plantation�. Promoter of NGO Development Initiative Rakhyakar Anupam welcomed the cyclists along with environment protection workers from various parts of Jharsuguda district.� Chief guest and environmentalist Mr. Abhay Singh spoke on the importance of plantation and urged the audience to keep on doing plantation lifelong.
