Jharsuguda: People on Sunday Morning made bee lines around the local shops at Jhanda Chowk for Pre – Diwali marketing people bought beautifully decorated idols of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi which were plenty in the market, fresh flowers, fruits, sweets, Rangoli, Bananas trees etc for the evening rituals. The market was chock-a-block, looked as if the whole Jharsuguda was at Jhanda Chowk for shopping in the Morning.
Businessmen in the city are ready to welcome the Goddess of wealth after cleaning and decorating their shops and expecting to attract customers on the Diwali day. People have switched on their festive mood to celebrate Diwali with great enthusiasm
