Yuva Biju Janta Dal protest against Price hike of petrol, Burns Effigy of PM & Sonai Gandhi

Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda Yuva Biju Janata Dal on Wednesday had staged a dharna in front of collectorate office protesting recent price hike in petrol. The members had shouted slogan against the UPA Government and blamed it that recent hike in petrol would led to increase of cost of essential commodities which would be beyond the reach of common people. In this protest they had burnt the effigy of PM Man Mohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi.

The Yuva Biju Janta Dal blamed that under 2nd Term of UPA Government the price of petrol has hiked 21 times in spite of protest from different political parties. The party has condemned the policy of the UPA Government and demanded of immediate withdrawal of present price hike of petrol.

Ex-Speaker Kishore Kumar Mohanty , Tapas Ray Choudhary , Youth President of Dist. Biju Yuva Janta Dal Trinath Goel , Manoranjan Mohapatra, Rabi Singh , Govind sharma along with many others were present in this protest.
