Srujanee Pariwar and Miror Theater Institute Organise Theater Seminar on ‘Drama and Audience’

Jharsuguda: Under the supervision of the Odisha Theater Association, a theater seminar titled ‘Drama and Audience’ was held on 12.04.2023 from 10.30 am to 2.00 pm at the local culture building, organised by Srujanee Pariwar and Miror Theater Institute, the district’s leading theater institutions.

The seminar was attended by prominent theater director Mr. Rohit Kumar Patel, dramatist Mr. Kirtimohan Mohanty, writer Ms. Pranthi Patnaik, author Prabanthikani Shetpathi, poet Ahalya Naik, Prameya district representative Mehbub Mahatab, and various other artists who shared their views on the subject matter.

The program commenced with offering flowers and lighting lamps near Nataraj, followed by a performance of Swagat Sangeet by the students of Lakshmi Narayan College and a rendition of Bande Utkal Janni by the singing talent Pratibha Kisan from the institute.

The discussion was conducted by the secretary Padmanav Mali under the chairmanship of Srujanee Pariwar president Shudarshan Panigarahi. Contributions and efforts were made by Narendra Panda, Shankar Podha, Kamlesh Mahanand Shashi Tiwari, Santosh Das, Rupak Barik, Pratima Bagh from the institute.

In conclusion, Pramod Meher delivered the vote of thanks for the successful theater seminar on ‘Drama and Audience’.
