Peace Committee Meeting held at Jharsuguda DRDO for upcoming Durga Puja arrangements

Jharsuguda: Seeing the upcoming Durga Puja celebration in the district, District administration yesterday evening had called in a Peace Committee meeting in DRDO Hall at 4.P.M.

This meeting was chaired by the newly appointed Jharsuguda Collector Bishnu Prasad Sahoo, Peace Committee Member Jharsuguda S.P. K.S. Kanwar, Sub-Collector Pradeep Barik along with all the govt. officials, Puja Pendal organizers and various distinguished resident of Jharsuguda.

In this meeting, various aspects of security and safety measures during this festive period were discussed. It is being decided that No Puja Pendal should not be extended till the roads, Pendals should be properly made and PWD department should check these Pendals. During this Durga Puja , the No Entry of Heavy vehicles through the town would be extended from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. and Jharsuguda Municipality has been instructed to maintain all types of Cleanliness during this festive season.
