Central Action Committee of Bar Association meets President of India, assured for action under law

Jharsuguda: The delegation from Central Action Committee of Bar Association of Western Odisha had met President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on August 30, 2012.

The Central Action Committee of Bar Association had handed over a memorandum to the President of India demanding High Court Bench in Western Region.

The President of India Shri. Pranab Mukherjee has assured to look after the matter seriously and has assured that the central action committee members to obtain status report from Government of Odisha. He also understood the genuine demand of establishment of High Court in the Western Odisha. CAC members have also met the Law Minister Sri Salman Khurshid and submitted the demand during the Chief justice Conference and he will put forth the matter infront him to take appropriate steps under law.

These 11 members committee were Convenor Ashok Das , Joint Convenor Sudhanshu Purohit , Bidhan Panigrahi , Niranjan Tripathy (Secretary) , Sureswar Mishra , Devendra Satpathy , Sri Ballav Mishra , Satyanarayan Panda , Pramod Dash , Sachinanda Das , Dutiya Sahoo former Ex � CM and Past M.P. Sri Hememand Biswal �were present in this meet.
