Jharsuguda: More than 300 BJD workers today gheraoed MSP Metallic Steel Plant at Budhipatra. They staged protest in-front of the entrance of the plant. They blamed the company is not concern with the local employment and for last 5 years the local youths who have been working in the company are still under the contract . They also blamed the company that it is polluting the nearby surrounding by sending all waste materials to the nearby stream.
Seeing the agitation, one platoon force was deployed along with the BTM IIC Amitav Panda and Badmal IIC Kailash Acharya were present to control the situation.
Since morning 10 A.M. , BJD workers started this agitation led by Trinath Goel , Besak Majhi (Block President ), Murli Das from Marakuta Panchayat , Mitrbhan Sahoo , Jai Kumari Patel , Pandu Yadav , Vardhan Chauhan , Ramesh , Gujulu, Dilip Sharma , Guddua Sharma , Sachin Sharma along with many BJD supporters were present .
However, the Plant officials had called in for discussion where the Company had assured that the all the local youths will be Permanent within one month times as per Human Resources General Manager Mr. Jogendra Nayak
